Are there any exotic pet owners out there? By that I mean people who have reptiles, rodents, birds, fish, or even insects. I don't have any myself, but I think they're really cool. A science teacher of mine once had a boa constrictor, an iguana, a scorpion, a tarantuala, some hissing roaches, and a guinee pig.

My brother has a very nice Mexican Red kneed Tarantula called Suilven,as spiders go she's a good natured creature and i love the feeling of her crawling over my face.

They are cute, but have really spiny tails. The one my science teacher had was named Iggy.

they are incredibly expensive and difficult to look after also they require a good knowledgable owner otherwise the creature suffers unnecessarily and so many do.

I have 2 Madagascan hissing roaches. I received them 2 months ago and was excited when they arrived! When I removed them from their transportetion container they didn't even hiss at me. They're both males named Camron and Rayford. They hissed at me the first couple of time when I picked them up but they became use to my gentle handling and just sit on my fingers or hand. They're very easy to look after and require very little care especially if you only have a couple.

I once had 2 Iguanas but they didn't last very long. I didn't know they required so much care and found out too late when the smaller one died by being crushed by my large one. Not even a year later my large one died of stomach parasites. They can make wonderful pet but as someone previously stated, they require lots of care and the bigger they get the bigger the cage you have to get for them.

Why the hell would anyone want hissing roaches? *Cringes and runs away.*
